Reconcile the Descriptor Before Calling It Fraud

The name shown on a bank statement can be a processor, legal entity or shortened merchant label rather than the casino brand. That does not make an unknown charge legitimate. Match amount, time and receipt first, then use the bank’s dispute route if no authorised transaction explains it.

Copy the complete descriptor

Record the statement text exactly, including numbers, location fragments and any prefix. Note whether the entry is pending or posted. Banks can enrich or shorten merchant data, so the displayed label may change when a temporary authorisation becomes a settled transaction.

Match amount, currency and time

Compare the bank entry with casino deposit history and emailed receipts. Account for a disclosed conversion or processor fee, but do not invent a match when the figures differ. Save the casino transaction ID and the bank reference beside the descriptor.

Ask the merchant for identification

Use the operator’s official support channel and provide the date, amount, currency, descriptor and masked last digits. Ask which legal entity or processor generated it. Do not post statement screenshots publicly or reveal unrelated transactions, account numbers or card security data.

Escalate an unrecognised transaction

If no authorised cashier record matches, lock the card if appropriate and contact the issuing bank through its official app or number. Follow the bank’s fraud or dispute process and keep the case ID. Do not let a casino affiliate or unofficial chat handle a bank dispute.
